89SupremeCutty Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 i was under the car a few weeks ago putting the new exhaust on and i saw this connector and forgot to get a pic of it then. but i was under the car agin to day to lok at my leaking gas tank and i snapped a pic of it with my cellie. Quote
89SupremeCutty Posted July 5, 2008 Author Report Posted July 5, 2008 it's location is under the drivers side rear passenger door, in front of the gas tank, near the adjustment for the e-brake. im really curious to know what/where that goes to and what is supposed to be connected there. Quote
89SupremeCutty Posted July 5, 2008 Author Report Posted July 5, 2008 possibly but im not sure...the car has no ABS. Quote
AWeb80 Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 I'd strongly venture to say that is what it is.... cause my ABS wire runs right along my TA, and up to the hub....I never looked to see where it goes to the body. Quote
89SupremeCutty Posted July 5, 2008 Author Report Posted July 5, 2008 that makes sense then. but why would gm have it come out there? seems like a weird place to put the plug there. Quote
rockfangd Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 that is the abs connector. it runs from under the back seat to the rear hubs. i believe they were all wired for abs but not all of them got it there is one on the driver side and one on the passenger side Quote
89SupremeCutty Posted July 6, 2008 Author Report Posted July 6, 2008 thanks for the info guys. i didn't realize that there was one on the pass side either. Quote
89SupremeCutty Posted July 7, 2008 Author Report Posted July 7, 2008 thats almost as bad as saying it's ford. but not quite! Quote
