Drummer Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Ok i saw the write up on how to replace the TSS on the 94+ models, but whats different on the 93 and below besides the clock spring, or is it pretty much the same ? Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 It's easy as pie without an airbag. 1) remove front cover (or steering wheel controls) on steering wheel - they just sit there, 2 plastic nubs hold them in. Take a screwdriver to an edge and pry/wiggle it out. 2) Remove steering wheel nut 3) Remove steering wheel - you might need a puller, but I was able to do it by placing my knees behind it at 7 and 5 o'clock, grabbing it with my hands at 10 and 2 and giving it a good yank, and then promptly was hit in the face with it. But it worked 4) Remove the round gray/black plastic/foam piece with the connector on it (if you have steering wheel controls). Should just slide off. 5) Remove TSS - 3 small torx bolts. Quote
