Crazy K
they are referring to the the pins in the sides of the column... right? I've pulled them two different ways: slide hammer with a high grade bolt to thread into the pin.. or threading the screw or bolt though a washer and a socket or lugnut, so that as you tighten the screw/bolt, it pulls the pin into the hollow of the lugnut or socket. careful... inspect your pins for retaining "burrs" that must be ground away to pull the pin. for the puller screw/bolt, i think is is a #8, and I bought stainless steel screws from Lowes last time I messed with those pins

mfewtrail
Pivot pin tools are commonly stocked at part stores(this is about the 100th time I've mentioned an auto parts store on the board tonight! ).
Crazy K
remember to get stainless, cause weak bolts WILL break off.
NTRCOOL
Ok guys thanks for all the input sorry i haven't gotten around to responding but the stainless bolt and slide hammer. Eventhough i thought my 16lb slide hammer was a bit excessive, its the only one i own at the moment. It worked great Shifter23s car was repired almost perfectly with his and my teamwork. Course we had an itresting expeiance with my tgp wihle workn on his as to morons in a v-6 mustang threw a full cup of pop at shifter23 we got pissed and chased em down in my car showing them no mercy. then shifter23 tore them a new asshole.
