Does anyone else have the problem of the oil pressure 'gauge' dropping on a hard left turn?

I replaced the ICM, TPS and cleaned the MAF (with MAF cleaner) and the hesitation I had before is still there but not as bad and it doesn't miss at idle anymore, I'd like to get rid of the hesitation completely and having a hard time figuring it out.

Tony...Anyone?

i recall my old Z doing this just a bit. i believe it due to the lack of a windage tray in the oil pan. i think some people overfilled by half a quart to avoid this because they were so worried. but i wouldn't be honestly, unless you auto-x alot.

Is this the LQ1 you're asking about? If so, I thought these engines came with windage standard - all the literature I've seen mentioned this.

Unless, the windage tray was discontinued later. GM had done some cost-cutting changes over the years.

I recall the oil cooler was deleted later in production, my Feb '92 build has the oil cooler.

The '91 IP clusters (at least on Z34's) had oil pressure gauges, but the re-design on the '92 and later Z34 IP cluster deleted the oil pressure guage and substituted the voltmeter - which, on these cars is useful - since I'm on my 4th alternator over the years.

If I had my preferences, I'd like to have BOTH voltmeter and oil pressure. My Fiero GT and them as did my '84 X-11...
