I got a pair of 225s that were on my TGP sittin in my garage. The front tires on the 89 aren't the best and I was gona put them on there. I assume they should fit the rims and wheel wells fine since the TGP has 245s on there.

That's a stock size for your wheels. Well at least later in production.

just makin sure, cuz 225 is wider than 215, just wanted to make sure it would fit the width of the rim. I don't know much about rim and tire sizing.

The factory size for those sawblades is 215/60/16. Thats why he's asking if 225s will fit. I owned the car before he did.

Ya 225s will fit.

 

Any higher would fit too but ride would suffer.

 

I have 245s on 5 spokes and it sucks.

because 5 spokes width are 6.5 where as x-laces width are 8
