meltboy1 Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I got a pair of 225s that were on my TGP sittin in my garage. The front tires on the 89 aren't the best and I was gona put them on there. I assume they should fit the rims and wheel wells fine since the TGP has 245s on there. Quote
5speedz34 Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Why wouldn't they fit. That's a stock size for your wheels. Well at least later in production. Quote
meltboy1 Posted June 26, 2008 Author Report Posted June 26, 2008 just makin sure, cuz 225 is wider than 215, just wanted to make sure it would fit the width of the rim. I don't know much about rim and tire sizing. Quote
Drummer Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Why wouldn't they fit. That's a stock size for your wheels. Well at least later in production. for 5 spokes, but they should be fine Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Why wouldn't they fit. That's a stock size for your wheels. Well at least later in production. The factory size for those sawblades is 215/60/16. Thats why he's asking if 225s will fit. I owned the car before he did. Quote
5speedz34 Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Ya 225s will fit. Any higher would fit too but ride would suffer. I have 245s on 5 spokes and it sucks. Quote
meltboy1 Posted June 26, 2008 Author Report Posted June 26, 2008 why do you say that, I got 245s on the TGP and I absolutely love the way it rides and handles. Quote
Drummer Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 why do you say that, I got 245s on the TGP and I absolutely love the way it rides and handles. because 5 spokes width are 6.5 where as x-laces width are 8 Quote
