bodeen2007 Posted June 26, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 26, 2008 i don't want a better alt i just need to get rid of the cooling fan thats on the older style alt's so that i can use the fstb that i got off of a cadillac. I was thinking about that or putting spacers between the fstb and the top of the strut tower. The only reason i was asking about the alternator was pull aparts has what looked like a brand new replacement alternator on a 98 monte carlo and they only want about 20.00 for the alternator.
