AxlCrucifix
There is a little hole by the speaker in the dash on the drivers side has a little bulb sorta thing in it that clips in to the bottom of the dash Just wondering what this bugger does! If its helps, its the SE, with pretty much every single available option except leather.
5speedz34
Do you live in Canada? Sounds like the sensor for DRL.
AxlCrucifix
Yessir Canada it is. What function would the sensor serve? And how would that differ from having it removed? Thanks
cutty
Actually i think that sensor is for the automatic lights, with the sensor removed you would have to turn the lights on manually, and with the sensor still there the lights would go on automatically when the sensor does not see enough sunlight. If that makes any sense at all.
5speedz34
That's what I said. It's for the Daily Running Lights. Why would you want to remove it? Those cars go it because its the law.
GOT2B GM
It's not for DRL. It's for the automatic headlights (turning on / off the park lamps / taillamps at dusk / dawn). This essentially makes your headlight switch unnecessary. DRL is simply your lowbeams on (often at a lower intensity) during the daytime.
