Platinum or iridium for 3800?

Im picking up a 2002 monte carlo ss monday and in the near future im gonna change the plugs. basically all i wanna know is what will be better in a lightly modded 3800?

id say platinum i got em in ma 3.8 regal and i thing im gettin the most BANG 4 ma buck :lol: (ac delco rapid fires)

multiple dyno charts have proven no gain from them. all marketing hype.

yea all ill ever put in my gm cars as far as plugs go will be ac delco. im just gonna pick up some platinums.

Or if you want to go a heat range colder with some other mods, go with Autolite 605's!

I'm running regular copper plugs in my Regal. Runs great!! (Autolight 104's)

a friend of mine tried the iridium on his 98 gtp and they got burned out within 2k miles, very bad!!! definetly going back to platinum

I run the same with great results. Guess he won't need something that cold though.
