Identity Crisis Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Is there any gains or losses with trying to use a larger MAF from an LT1 or LS1? And which one is known to work? Quote
Venom Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 No. x2 not worth it unless you get one for free or something. Quote
BIGBULS Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 An LT1 MAF *IS* an LQ1 MAF. LS1 stuff is bigger, but no needed for a 3.4L that "only" revs to 7K. It might be useful for a forced induction car with a good tune, but is far more likely to cause problems on a stock LQ1. I remember guys using Granatelli LT1 MAF's with a "corrected" (for the LQ1) tune going slower back in the day............... Quote
