3400 forged pistons and rods??

Recommended Posts

where can I find some aftermarket (performance) pistons and connecting rods for a 3400 block?

how much are they?

I'm tempting my self more and more to do a 3400 full swap with a beater TGP and just put the TGP crank in it.

the only parts I'd still need for my set up that I can't find too easily are the pistons to handle the HP# and boost I'd be pushing.

any info would be greatly appriciated, Thanks!

also who would be able to tune the pcm/chip to accomidate for the bigger bored motor.

all I'd really need is a slightly rich tune. and not sure about injectors, but not the stock TGP or 3400 one's. prolly LT1's or something, if anybody has suggestions

3.4 dohc engine?

No, 3400 pushrod engine.

bullet, there's a lot of info over on 60degreev6.com on this, it might be worth you time to search around over there.

btw, just an fyi: all GM 60* motors have forged rods stock. But, that's not saying there's no room for upgrade, of course.

I knew that, I meant higher grand re-enforced ones...and upgrade to high comp/energy/diamond (racing) pistons? (or whatever namebrand they are...)

I'll check over there for sure, thanks!
