Bake82
I think if you ask 10 different people, you will get 10 different answers. I have always had great luck with Mequires, and have heard others have great luck with Mothers. I haven't tried Mother's yet, but will probably do so this year whenever I get the Cutlass running. slick
Anyone Use Zaino before? Probably isn't a person on here that can afford it.
1990lumina
I have and it works great - however it is rather expensive so I just stick to Meg's NXT wax. Goes on easy and comes off really easy. Of course, caly and paint cleaner first always helps
slick
I sometimes use Zymol. Go's on easy, pain to get off though. Seems to stay on for quite a bit. Otherwise, I use Mother's 3 step.
1990lumina
I also put Rain-X on all of my windows. It's great when it rains. On my car today coming home I didn't have the wipers on once - and all the windows cleared off once I got around 25mph. The water beads went flying off the hood and roof too the first stop I made - I love wax
ZacksZ34
well i use Dupont Teflon Carnuba wax it works good before it helps get rid of swirl marks and fine scrathces that you may have the paint
mfewtrail
Pretty much any wax I've used has worked decent enough. That wax you're using Adam has chemical cleaners in it IIRC. If you need no paint correction, you would be better off going with a regular wax instead of a cleaner wax(the mother's stuff isn't very harsh anyways). I like Presta fast wax for my black car. They also have a "best wax," but I've yet to try it...I might order a bottle soon. It goes on really easy and can be removed easily(with hardly any residue). Presta makes a lot of nice products for paint correction work, etc. If you're looking for durability in a carnauba based wax, Collinite 476S is HARD to beat. It sets up rock hard and last a really long time. For what it's worth, I've had a lot of typical OTC waxes last 4-5 months without an issue and I live in a humid climate. Applying and removing via machine(dual action buffer) seems to make a pretty good difference in durability for me. I suppose the heat from the pad/bonnet on the paint makes the wax bond better. EDIT: That Dupont wax most likely has fillers in it Zack, it's not really removing the scratches or swirls, it's lightly filling them so that they do not show as much or at all. Addicted to eaton
-- Anyone Use Zaino before? We Used it on our cars at a Kansas city meet last summer on a few gto’s and my grand prix. It took about 3 hours because of all the steps But it was awesome. I helped clean rims and vacuume, and cleaned windows As Curtis, Blaze, and Joe waxed all the cars. It was amazing. Lasted almost all summer. But really amazing. I can’t find it In Chillicothe any were.

pwmin
I use Zaino. It's not that expensive overall since it lasts a long time. I know there's stuff out there that's supposed to be better, like Poor Boys, etc., but I like it and it works for me. I don't like Meguiar's or Mother's waxes and polishes. Addicted To Boost
I use 3M polishes, glazes, and waxes on my TGP and it looks great. (See avatar) I just bought a bottle of Liquid Glass for it, so I will have to try that and see how I like it once the car runs.

5speedz34
I use the little bottle of Mother's stuff that comes with the Mother's clay-bar kit. You did a whole car with that? Mothers, Meguiars, 3M are probably the best out there IMO. And the most widely distributed. I would be weary about using Liquid Glass since its almost a sealant. Addicted To Boost
I use the little bottle of Mother's stuff that comes with the Mother's clay-bar kit. You do realize thats not really a protectant wax, right? The cleaner wax that comes with the claybar is used to remove oxidation, and it doesn't really stay on the car to protect the paint. You really should top this off with a quality wax after using the cleaner wax. I would be weary about using Liquid Glass since its almost a sealant. Why is that? I think the Mother's kit comes with a little itty bitty bottle of sample carnauba wax. I've heard the liquid glass is like a laquer that goes over your paint, and its not good because it doesn't let it breathe? Don't quote me on this. mfewtrail
The mother's carnauba cleaner wax is a wax + cleaner. It will leave behind a protective layer of wax.
