Power-Glide
I'm getting tired of the 140hp, 180ft/lbs real quick and was wondering what the best route is to hop up this motor.... I really don't want to do another motor swap (just finished putting this one in last month :? ), so what are my best options? I was thinking of going the TGP route, but I might also be able to score a 3.4 top end cheap(bastid never changed his timing belt=valve work). Again any input is appreciated, just don't mention a L67 swap BTW car is a 90' GP LE, 4T60
Redfox340
Ok, if you're looking for upgrading parts... here's a good start: * tune-up (start with the basics: plugs / wires / throttle body cleaning; you'll be amazed) * [cold] air intake (custom made) * exhaust system / components (local speed / muffler shop) * performance MEMCAL chip (Fast Foward Performance) * poly dogbones (Fast Foward Performance) * underdrive crank pulley (Fast Foward Performance) * rocker arms (W-Body Performance - Rocker Arm Install) - NOT RECOMMENDED UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE (10/1/03) * NOS? (cheap & effective, but only limited usage is recommended) Sky's the limit on pushrod motors. Many concepts / ideas for performance are very practicle. - Erik

Redfox340
What computer chip is the best way to go? For your particular DOHC, you don't have the option. Sorry. Since you car is retro-fitted with the hybrid OBDI system, no one has cracked the programming code for it. But, all regular OBDI systems, pushrod or DOHC, you'll see the most out of FFP. Ask around, people who have them installed have nothing but good reviews for power / durability. - Erik
