slick Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 What all parts did you use, and replace, when you lowered your vehicle? Does the vibration go away if your turning your wheel? Quote
95aquase Posted June 8, 2008 Author Report Posted June 8, 2008 i used a springtech monte spring. and kept all the factory things. and removed the bump stops completely. vibration does not go away when turning Quote

CSI_MuNkY Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Where do you feel the vibration? in the seat? in the steering wheel? Jamie Quote
95aquase Posted June 8, 2008 Author Report Posted June 8, 2008 im pretty sure the vibration is coming from the axles. are our trans and motor mounts like the 2nd gen gps??? Quote
GP4U2NV Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 You are correct. The vibration is most likly due to the combo of the weak old engine/trans mounts and the new lowering of the vehicle. There are five ways to fix this concern: 1) Replace both lower engine mounts (better if with solids from napa) 2) Custom Made axles 3) Lower the craddle a little with a spacer 4) un-lower the vehicle 5) Deal with the vibration Way to make sure that it is a driveline vibration. Find a large crowned hill. Drive over the top on accel without the vehicle leaving the ground. You are just looking to get the suspension to extend. If the vibration changes, then it is the axles.
