Addicted To Boost
Anyone have a write-up on here for replacing a starter on a 3.1? Thanks
digitaloutsider
Unbolt it? Seriously, that's really all there is.
Venom
Yeah, its not rocket science. Unhook battery Remove wires from starter remove two bolts lower out of the way reverse to install I think you have to remove the flywheel cover but dont quote me on that. PCGUY112887
Yeap, flywheel cover has to come off too, just a few extra bolts holding the plastic thingy on there. THEN unbolt power from starter, and 2 starter bolts, and off it comes. Rinse and repeat!
GOT2B GM
some applcations it is easier to remove the solenoid from the old starter before trying to wiggle the starter out.
