Addicted2bass
WTF is with the diodes? Ive done locks on many cars and while some need resistors, ive never used a diode on locks before....weird. What kind of car is this?
slick
I've had to diode isolate many vehicles. But, 1st gen w-body's are not needed, hell, even second gen w's are not needed.
Addicted2bass
The locks on these vehicle's are negative. On the brain itself, you can choose either positive or negative polarity with a jumper on the side of the brain. THE USE OF TEH 451m WAS NOT NECESSARY. Is this on the 95 Grand Prix?? Locks on that would be positive i think. We dont get many 1st gen w-bodys in my work for keyless or starters, but IIRC the locks on my 96 GP were positive. I think 97 and up is negative.
