I couldn't find a tutorial for removal of the PCM in an 04+ 3800 vehicle so I decided to make one here goes. This is not an official GM Approved way but it's how I did it and it worked.

You will need:

1/4" Nut Driver

1/2" Socket and driver

Steps:

1: Pop the hood.

2: Remove the fender brace by removing the three 1/2" bolts.

3: Locate air box

4: Unclip the airbox, remove the filter, and Unclamp and remove the MAF sensor using the 1/4 nut driver. Place out of the way.

5: Remove the filter housing by unscrewing the two bolts holding it in place. Place out of way.

6: The PCM is located inside the second portion of the airbox.

7: Do whatever you needed to do.

To Reinstall the PCM:

1: Perform steps 2-6 in reverse order making sure to put everything back where it was.

2: Close Hood

3: Wash hands. After this your hand probably look like this.

4: Start car.

I hope this helped somebody and I realize it's not perfect, maybe it cleared somebody's unspoken question if they had one.
