LuminaPower92
Got somebody with a 97 Z34 LQ1 with a problem. When the car is cold it dont want to start, sometimes barely does, and when driven it bogs very bad especially higher rpm, also effects tranny performance. When it warms up after be driven its fine, acts normal. Has had new plugs, wires, coil packs, airl, fuel and pcv changed recently. Any body ever experience this? Sidewinder
Mine had (has) the same issue in the cold, though its never not started entirely. Is he leaking coolant at all? Mine had a very small coolant leak, once I figured out where it was coming from and fixed it my car ran much better and warmed up faster. I'm assuming that the coolant system is pressurized (I could be wrong), but either way the leak was hindering the flow of the coolant heating up the rest of the engine in the winter. It still has some issue in the cold but its always started now (if it is the temp sensor I may need the same thing). As a stop gap until it is fixed, if it has a block heater plug the car in, that should allow it to start up normally.
LuminaPower92
well checked today with fuel gauge, 17-20 psi on KOEO and KOER 27-30 psi. Specs stat 41-48 psi. regulator seems ok, i think somethings up with the pump, poss strainer clogged. there was a bulletin for that when i searched. also having problems with the gauge which seems is the level sensor which also has a bulletin out on that to replace and reprogram. might suggest the pump module assmbly with everything.
