Kingsford
I'm hoping someone can help with this problem. I have a 2003 Grand Prix SE with the factory AM/FM/CD player. The radio and CD player work fine but the LCD display doesn't work. All other guage/info illumination works great. Any suggestions on where to start? PS: I did a search first but couldn't locate any theads that described this problem.
ManicMechanic
The LED is out and from what I understand, they are expensive...I see them on ebay for $20.
Kingsford
Thanks, Manic! I can swing $20 for a new LED. Is the procedure to replace it difficult? Are instructions available on this site or somewhere else?

ns87
I own 2nd Gen grand prix cd player with the same problem too lol. Was going to put it into my Ciera, but never got around to it. 1991 still has the old style radio harness connectors

Venom
So has anyone sucessfully fixed this problem? IIRC correctly its a fairly common problem and youll probably find a solution on ClubGP or maybe even over on J-Body.org since Sunfires had the same problem.
