CSI_MuNkY
My low oil light has been on ever since my last oil change. The oil is topped up, I know it is not low. When I start the car and see the light is on, if I shut the car off and on again, the light turns off. So, where is the low oil sensor on the 95 LQ1? And does anyone know how much it will cost to replace? Jamie
Crazy K
it is installed through the pan, but you;ll have to look, I think it is on the front face, if not, look on the read face. I have heard of the switches going bad, and they are not costly to replace, so replace it.
CSI_MuNkY
Next oil change it will be getting replaced. I've only done 1000km since my last oil change, so it will be a while yet, just thought I would ask. Thanks Jamie

CSI_MuNkY
if u unplug it then the light will go off (so its off for the time being if its bugging you) Really? I thought that would of made it stay on all the time... well then, I'll have to do that next time I'm under the car... Gotta check sub frame bushings today or tomorrow (I have a rattle in the front) Thanks Jamie
kuntzie
when i installed the turbo kit in the lunina, the oil drain goes into that location and the sensor is removed, and m low oil light is not on.
CSI_MuNkY
kool! Definitely going to have to unplug it then. I can check my own damn oil, I don't need a computer to do it! Jamie
19Cutlass94
I dont know about the older cars, but the newer ones, on start up, the PCM DOES look for that sensor.
