Matts97cutty89 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 So my friend is trying to hook up a system in his 2004 Grand prix and he wants to use the stock radio....so what is the best way to hook up the remote wire anyone konw what wire and color it would be? any info would be greatly appreciated! slick Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Does he have a factory amplifier? You can tie it into the ignition wires, behind the HVAC controls, tons of places. Quote
slick Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 If you want to go to the ignition, use Pink or Brown. If you want to go behind the heater controls, use Brown, but be sure to test because there may be a few brown wires. If he has a factory amplifier underneath the rear deck, it will most likely be Pink, but can be a Dark Green. Quote
