madmax
I need to change the fuel filter on my '88GP. I'm was told that the fuel pressure must be released before changing it. How does one go about doing it safely? Thanks. Max
Redfox340
Two ways: 1.) open the gas cap on the tank 2.) push in the Schader valve on the fuel rail Piece of cake! After new installation, make sure to let system pressurize before starting. Also, give some RPM's once it's started... you'll avoid some "stall" starts. - Erik
gp90se
done a few, piece of advise, hit the valve (under the cap), and open the gas cap, change the filter, before u crank it over, click it into the on position a few times (3 or 4) so it builds fuel pressure. -Jeff
