dohcfiend Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 I seen a local guy adding a deck lid and a hood but he list it as 88-93. There isn't any difference betwen the 88-93 to the 94-97 is there. I was under the impression that all the deck lids and hoods were physically the same. am i right? Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 what car? I would assume a Grand Prix. Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Well I guess it could be a CS but I believe that he has a GP. Quote
CSI_MuNkY Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 With the hood on a GP, anything from 1988 and up to and including 1996 will work. 97+ will not work. The only things that changed from 88-96 were the hood louvers and their size, aside form that they are all the same. As for the trunk lid, the same applies, however in this case I seem to recall someone telling me that the lid from the sedan will not fit on the coupe. Maybe someone can confirm or deny that part... ManicMechanic Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Hood: GRAND PRIX 88 GRAND PRIX 89-96 w/o louvers Coupe and sedan are same Trunklid: coupe and sedan are different. But 1988-1996 are the same for the coupe and 1990-96 for the sedan. Quote
