Front only lowering springs?

Is there a place where I could get a pair of ~1.5" lower springs only for the front of my LaCrosse? I want to lower the front but keep the rear stock as I plan to run a staggered wheel fitment on the car with a 21-22" rear wheel and I think it would look really trick with it raked forward on the staggered wheels. I also hear that once you lower a car that far it has driveline alignment issues, what can be done to keep it from vibrating? I found shorter dogbones but don't know what a dogbone is or what it does. On my Intrepid I had the Eibach lowering kit which came with shims to correct the angles.

If someone can pipe up and confirm this I might be able to get you a set. I'm not sure if they will work, so you will want a confirmation from someone else...

I can get my hands on a set of 1.5" lowing springs off a 2nd Gen, they were pulled from a Regal GS. I can;t remember the mileage that was put on them, but I know it was low enough for my to try and talk my brother into buying them... (he passed because his friend wanted them but sold the car instead)

So if someone can confirm or deny that 2nd gen springs will work, I might be able to hook you up.

did a little looking into it... the la crosse is on a revised version of the gen2 W platform called MS2000, same as the 06+ Impala. and eibach sells 2 different sets of springs for a 05 lacrosse and a 02 regal.

so far they dont look to be compatible, BUT i dont know for sure.

Alright, Appreciate 'cha. So the question is still open ended. Anyone else have any input?
