UWISHU1 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I bought the louvers/vents off of Ebay and I looked around for some info on how to install GTP louvers/vents on to my 95 Grand Prix SE hood. Any help, input ,or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Quote

AWeb80 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 my body shop guy used a cut-off wheel. i gave him plenty of pics and dim off other cars and the taped the louvers to the hood and then cut the holes out... he said it was the first time he had ever done anything like that, and it turned out GREAT! AWeb80 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 and fyi, if you are getting the bigger louvers, make sure you don't cut out the side braces, as you will need them for support. ....and the hood I pulled some louvers off of, had some black braces under the hood strut mount.....I have not seen them on any other louvered car....so where they came from, IDK....but they fit PERFECTLY......they are NOT after market....no way you could make these as well as they fit. Psych0matt Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 if those are TGP louvres, you should sell them to me and find the later louvres Quote
EviLette Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 if those are TGP louvres, you should sell them to me and find the later louvres Those are GTP louvers. They aren't long enough to be TGP. How do I know? I just put a set on my car four days ago. Running around sans louvers in a louvered hood FTMFL. Quote
