shadow
I finally had the motor mount put on but that did not sold the banging at times when I press the throttle out of overdrive. The car does not bang into reverse like some said it would if the tranny mount is bad. Anyway anyone have instructions for changing the tranny mount? Is it easier than the lower motor mount? Thanks Chris
krenzy
Tranny mount is definately easier. I had a shop do it so I don't have directions, but they were so happy when it only took like an hour and a half to do. How's your vaccum modulator? Replaced? Check valve in place and in correct position?

Took the guy about 1 1/2 hour to do the lower motor mount so I hope he can do the tranny mount as quick.
krenzy
If you look at the turbo itself, look directly down and, on the trans, there is a gold colored cylinder with a vac line (hopefully) coming from it. That is your modulator valve. Look and tell me what the vaccum line coming off looks like...whether there is no line, whether it has a check valve, or whether the vac line goes up to the throttle. Cool...I will check that tomorrow. Chris
