jmoore4294
Long story short: Got to work, and as soon as I parked, I see steam just rolling out of the hood. Turned the car right off, popped the hood and found my upper radiator hose busted. After 20 min calling auto parts stores, I found an Advance in another state who had one in stock. Cost $12 for the hose plus some channel locks and a flat blade and 2 gallons of antifreeze which came to $37. Plus some distilled water from where I work for $3. Basically, I got paid today to work on my car. For a little bit anyway. I know I'm gonna get crap for this, but it's a 13 yr old hose with 150,000 miles on it. Guess I got the most out of the hose....
Psych0matt
nice, that happened to me a few years ago, only somehow it managed to not break until about 10 minutes after I turned it off and went into the house

jmoore4294
New hose has a big stamp on it proudly displaying MADE IN MEXICO!!! Woohoo...... And not but a month ago, I had that little 3 inch hose that goes from the water pump outlet to the metal line on the front of the engine bust...that one was somewhat of a pain in the ass to replace.
