89GranSport
I am interested in a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix STE that's for sale. The owner said it makes a clunking sound when shifting from park to reverse. What could cause this clunking sound, aside from a dying transmission? I don't think it's a motor mount problem, as in the listing, the seller said it has new motor mounts. Any ideas? Thanks!
GP1138
Did the seller state that they were lower or upper motor mounts?
89GranSport
Did the seller state that they were lower or upper motor mounts? No, it just said "NEW motor mounts". Here is the link to the STE. http://buffalo.craigslist.org/car/642480136.html

meltboy1
I would actually say subframe bolts but guess it doesn't matter anymore

meltboy1
that just reminds me of the noise I used to get before my subframe rotted on my 91...
