NOx is formed at combustion temps over 2500*....My first guess would be the EGR. Maybe u still just need a brand new one. Or try letting the thing sit there and cool down then go thru the line?

New AC delco O2

I had it at the shop and they told me my alternator was dying. So I went over to Ryan's (ihateallmustangs) place and swapped it out with an almost new one. It runs much better. Hoping that maybe the computer / sensors / fuel pump / ICM-coils just may not have been getting enough power to work efficiently.

yup delivered it today, the vert is officially gone, ended up taking $3900 for it. Not bad for a 3.1 vert needing paint!

Altenators will cause all kinds of wierd problems. Last year I got in the car one morning and the thing would not move. All four brakes were locked, ABS light on, Check Engine Service light on. I thought the ABS was screwed up. I never knew that the ABS and the master cylinder could lock the brakes without the pedal being pressed. After an hour of messing with it I noticed the alternator light came on. I checked it and its pumping out about 16 volts to 17 volts. The regulator had gone bad and the extra voltage was screwing the computer up. The guy at the altenator shop said that he'd seen them mess up the whole system before.
