phantomFE3 Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 does anyone have any pictures of the coolant reservior on any TGP's?! and if so, would i be able to put my coolant reservior in the same place on my 89 cutlass as a TGP? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I think I have a pic. I'll go look. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Her's two I took about a month ago. If you notice , the air conditioning lines are disconnected and there's a piece missing. http://photo.starblvd.net/~redturbo90/6-4-5.jpg?i=1061184734 http://photo.starblvd.net/~redturbo90/6-2-2.jpg?i=1060823299 Quote
The Burning Rom Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Well..here is a pic of where it is: It's all melted......I got it that way It's strapped to part of the AC. But I doubt it would fit. I compared it with the setup on my 90 LE w/3.1, and it doesn't look like there would be much room for it anyway. The airbox and coolant lines for the radiator look like they'll be in the way. It would also be a PITA to fill....it's not the easiest thing to fill on the TGP. Why are you trying to relocate your coolant bottle? Why not use one out of a 91+ GP that replaces the plastic panel covering the ECM? Quote
phantomFE3 Posted July 27, 2003 Author Report Posted July 27, 2003 does anyone have some pics of the coolant reservior on a 91+ GP that goes in place of the ECM cover? im just looking for better ideas for a CAI, and i noticed the reserviors arent in the same place ona TGP as they are on my cutty Quote
Robby1870 Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Ignore the VERY dirty motor, it has since been cleaned. Robby Quote
phantomFE3 Posted July 27, 2003 Author Report Posted July 27, 2003 wuurd! sweet sweet, ima get one of them! so it will bolt right up and everything?! just gotta run the coolant lines over there im guessin?! Quote
Robby1870 Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 yeah, you'll just need the overflow tube that runs from the radiator cap to the resevoir. Then there is one screw that attaches the tank to the body brace, and one that attaches it to the strut tower. You'll see them when you get the new tank from a junkyard Robby Quote
OldsmoBeast Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 my engine has the bottle in the same place...off to the side on top of the ECM area.....why is that? Quote
