jmoore4294 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 From eBay, and they sent the one listed here the part # matches and all that. The thing is, it looks different than the ones on my car. As you can see, the one in the picture is recessed around the lug nut holes, the ones on my car are not. Are there 2 different styles of the Cutlass 5 spokes? Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 That's a 1997-03 GP wheel...It won't fit your car. There was only one style of CS 5 spoke. Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 2, 2008 Author Report Posted April 2, 2008 Damnit, now I gotta send it back. Quote
GP1138 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 That almost looks like it's from a Trans Sport or Montana van with how flat those spokes are. Quote

jmoore4294 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 HA...oops. Didn't realize I did that. They sent the one that I posted a picture of. Not the one in the auction. Sorry. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 They sent you one that won't fit...... Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 They sent you one that won't fit...... Why yes, yes they did. I'm waiting for an email back on instructions on sending it back. Of course they make the customer pay return shipping on a mistake THEY made.... Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 They wouldn't be getting positive feedback from me... Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 Well, I gotta say....the wheel looks brand new. They do good work....they just need to get their shit in order. Quote
Euro Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 I'm pretty sure the wheel will fit...it'll just look retarded. Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 It'll match the fading paint and the degrading top. But it'll look better than the steel rim I've got on there now....that's for certain. Quote
Psych0matt Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 You should have just emailed them and said you haven't got your cutlass rim yet! Quote
ns87 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Frustrating I know. I bought a new front bumper for my car on ebay once. After specifying 1000 times I need a 4 door, they still sent a 2 door. And I had to pay to ship it back (Greyhound $25) Good luck getting that straightened out Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 You should have just emailed them and said you haven't got your cutlass rim yet! Tracking numbers man. UPS. Only took 3 days to get here from Pennsylvania. This is what I did to my last wheel. I was on my way home from work Christmas eve and some asshole came into my lane and ran me into a curb at 45. I got home, and on Christmas day, I am sitting watching tv and I hear air escaping from somewhere, and I look outside any I see the front pass. side of my car slowly lowering itself. Merry Christmas to me.... Quote
Psych0matt Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Tracking numbers man. UPS. It's not the cutlass wheel you ordered though Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 4, 2008 Author Report Posted April 4, 2008 Why won't it fit? Cause the offset is so different? But i've been thinking. If it'll fit, I was gonna order 3 more....or try to get my hands on some 1st gen GP wheels, cause I kinda like them. Or do you guys think I should stick with the CS 5 spokes? Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 4, 2008 Author Report Posted April 4, 2008 I saw that pic a while back when you first posted about your neighbor. I like how the GP wheels look, and it's kinda where I got the idea. Do you like them better? The GP wheels that is.... Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 In all honesty, the only reason I got rid of them was because I wanted to keep my 1994 original and my van looks better with CS 5 spokes. I loved the way they looked on my 1992 though. Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 I sent the wrong one back, now they say that they don't see a difference between the wrong wheel that they sent me, and the one on my car. I beg to differ. Quote
jmoore4294 Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 Yes....I believe so....or just very, very stupid. I can't make up my mind. Quote
