Garrett Powered
I skimmed over that and it sounds kind of ghetto the way he does it. I would use 0 gauge from the alt straight down under the car and back up through the trunk with a grommet and straight back up to the aux post with 4 gauge. then mount a capacitor where the battery was with new ground wires where the stock ones were. kind of expensive that way with all the 0 gauge, wireloom and strapping it to the chassis every 6 inches so it doesnt sag is kind of hard to do. but thats what I did and it works awesome. I tried to do it that other way and failed miserably.
CSI_MuNkY
I chose not to do the battery relocation because I race my car. Too much hassle having to install a cut off switch on the back of the car. With a switch on the back of a DD, I might as well change my license plate to "Race Me" So if you race, check out your local track rules...
