ShockTherapy Posted July 26, 2003 Report Share Posted July 26, 2003 here's a heck of a thing for you guys. i jumped in my car and i started it, the steering column started smoking :shock: ,so naturally, i kill the engine pull the key out, and jump out of the car, leaving the door open. i get back in in about 5 minutes later, and bieng the genious i am i started the car again, and this time no problems, i was just wondering what the heck would cause that ? it's a 1991 with the steering wheel controls. Expecially while driving down the interstate (When it first happened) I began dissasembling my steering wheel going 80 MPH it was fun times. TSS is what is wrong, replace that and you will be fine.
