Night Fury
So. When you stick in a tape, the rewind light comes on, and it just 'clicks' no matter what button I push. Any simple fix short of replacing?

wildbill
You still have cassettes? Def need to replace, its time for better sound quality! You better not be driving around playing cassettes after you put those five spokes on....
Garrett Powered
http://www.fierostore.com/Product/Detail.aspx someone said this might help. or one of their other kits. but its likely the belt is worn out.

I would rather use that than an aftermarket HU. OR can I swap in a newer factory cd player?
jeremy
ROFL!! I would rather use that than an aftermarket HU. OR can I swap in a newer factory cd player? Why do that and suffer crappy sound quality. I modified my 96 CS's cassette HU where I now have a mp3 player input without the crappy SQ of cassette adapters You simply bypass the cassettes signal to the preamp with a mini headphone jack or whatever input you like. intern8tion9l
^^^hahaha. i just found my naughty by nature cassette not too long ago. it was the first cassette i ever owned do yourself a favor and buy a new head unit so you can get some actual sound flowing out of the crappy ass stock speakers you undoubtably have

Addicted to eaton
Hes most likely like me, Its stock. I like the look of stock players for a few reasons. 1. It keeps the flow going and you dont have a head unit that looks like a sore thumb. 2. It Keeps people from thinking you have a "system" when you really do. Night Fury
My friend Chelsea gave me her HU from her 94 Achieva w/o cassette, cause us screwing with the cass player ended up getting the tape stuck in it, so I had no tunes at all. It looks good now, though!!
