PaPaPooh
i saw that some one had a cutlass supreme phantom FE3 mine has a FE3 on the trunk lid the question is whats the FE3 mean?
Redfox340
Depending on the car / model, it can be a different a couple of things. Mainly on all GM's, the RPO code FE3 on passenger cars means a sport suspension is installed. For instance all of the cars ('89 Beretta, '92 Cutlass, '01 Carlo) in the garage had FE3... ... but that doesn't mean the share the same parts. If you saw an acutal Phantom FE3, that was a dealer installed package with ground effects, badging, etc. Ask PhantomFE3 (them member here) and he'll give you the full scoop on his. - Erik
PaPaPooh
yea i was hpoing he would see this it just says FE3 i was hoping it was a rare car! i only paid 500 for it well worth it but would be better if it was rare oh no ground effects or anything so im thinking that its just the suspension like you said

PaPaPooh
haha ok i came from missouri to cali last sept muh trusty ol lincoln started havin drivability prob after i got here so i tried fixin it but i think i scwered it with not havin the right tools!! well thats when i was lookin for a cheep car well muh babys mom worked for an auctioneer he had this cutlass at the lot din know much about it either did they so 2 weeks later it was goin up for auction and i went to check it out and all they could tell me was that the tranny was bad in it so i checked it out started it up heard the classic empty torque converter (i work on trannys for a bit in mo) so i put it in drive and it had some pull so i was like hmmmm its still driveable (i was hoping) so i gave the keys back and went home called the auctioneer adn said 500 max preferable 350 so i had put my "proxy bid" in on the car. he called monday and said i got it and that the deal was for me to work it off for him. so i did i tryed 6 or 7 times to get it 3 times goin there at witch point i put 3 or 4 quarts of tranny fluid in (in total 7 or 8 went in) they lost keys battery was dead once then i started college so iw as only workin saterdays (auction days) one saterday the auctioneer asked "mike when you going to get that car?" i said bein a smart ass cause i was mad about the jerk around i got before "when i can get it started" so the manager went out there hooked the cables up let it charge 5 mins or so and it cranked right up so this point the manger is sayin "it won't go very far" i and did the idle drive for 5 or 6 back and forths he kept sayin the same thing over and over needless to say i drove it home that day he was in shock i screwed them on the car cause i kinda knew what was wrong from past dignosis at the shop i worked at oh the manger said he checked the fluid before he towed it and said it was full i said "if you check it cold you can never get an acurate reading but we drove it to missouri this summer and it drove fine for the um 3500 miles? there and back wow this is figgin long
