Captain Ficho Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 My car is due for a throttle body cleaning so I went to the local car parts store to get some throttle body cleaner and couldn't find it anywhere. I checked every type of cleaner they had and still couldn't find it. However, I saw carb cleaner and logic told me they are probably the same, so I bought it. In big lettering the can says that it is sensor safe, so I figured it will be fine. Should I be alright to use this sensor safe carb cleaner? Quote

Garrett Powered Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 I bought a gallon of xylene and just soak it then scrub it down with a toothbrush. then it was kind of squeaky so I lubed it with sil-glyde. Quote
