patrix004 Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Does anyone it is illegal in ontario, canada to tint your tail lights and side markers? Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 first, read your post before hitting the button. Second, Im pretty sure it's technically illegal, but if you do it right and not too incredibly dark, you should have no problems. I've had at least 5 or 6 cops behind me at one point or another since I've had mine tinted, and havent had a single problem. Quote
patrix004 Posted March 6, 2008 Author Report Posted March 6, 2008 sorry before "hitting the button"? I have a convertible and Im asking a question about. Isn't this the right section for that? Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 This is the right section, but read your post, it doesn't make sense. Second, tinting taillights is not convertible specific, but it's fine in this section, you just might not get nearly the amount of results as if you put it in the appearance section. Quote
jeremy Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 I would guess that it would be illegal. I know that the Nightshades can is marked "for offroad use only"...or something along those lines Quote
CSI_MuNkY Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 It IS illegal in Ontario... But I've been all over (London, Peterborough, Lindsay, I live in Kitchener Waterloo and everywhere in between) and not had a problem with mine, and they are black. Just like the law against tinted license plates covers, your only going to get a hard time for it if you get pulled over for something else, or you happen to cross paths with a cop having a bad day. Where are you in Ontario? Theres a bunch of members here from Ontario, and we are planning a meet this summer. Jamie Quote
