I bought my 1997 Olds in July of 1999 with 47,000 miles on it. It now has 185,000 miles on it, and not much is original on it anymore. So...I've had that car just about 8.5 years.

Had the cavalier for 3 years, I loved it, but who cares

-Cutlass: bought in august (i think) of '03, tranny swap, timing belt, and another engine later she's still running (or running again x6 or 7)

-TGP: Traded the Jimmy in October for her, spent $50 on an ICM and a crank sensor, and have pulled the engine and tranny. She should be back together in a few weeks (knock on wood)

I got my 90 lumina last july and a 96 regal last sept, regal is at the dealership i purchased it from with a bad engine, they supposedly (fixed) the upper intake but yet it was leaking coolant into the motor so I had it fixed again for 700$ and then the motor blew 3 days after that. their bulletproof unless idiots get to the upper intake. we'll see how it goes.

2002 Grand Prix GT Sedan-38,000 miles for $8,500.

Purchased in June 2007

Funny story... I just finished the paper work at the previous owner's home. I went and grabbed my stuff out of my mom's ride and then walked to my Grand Prix. One of the things I was holding was my TomTom, and as I reached to open the door of my new Grand Prix, my TomTom said, in a smooth and sexy voice, "You have reached your destination." I was like "sweet"...then I dropped it. No damage, still works great!

I bought my car in Nov. 2002 with 87k miles on it for 4k. It now has 166k on it. It already had 150k on it in early 2004. I've slowed down the milage on it since I don't drive it that much.

The wifes 01gtp we bought this past sept with 78k on it for $6k.

Well..I haven't had it per se. My dad got it in 2000. So 7.5-8 years.

And when he bought that he got rid of a Nissan Sentra he'd had for 14 years.

Needless to say I drove it alot in the first 3 years I had it but haven't driven it that much in the past few years as it 1. Doesn't see snow and 2. Has undergone some major mods!

St Patrick's Day 2004 with 108k for $2,000. I must have been drunk :willynilly: (j/k parents bought it for me)

Now up to 140k. Once I learned how to do my own repairs, owning it has been a piece of cake :high5:
