3.5L V6 in 95 cutlass?

was gm putting a 3.5 in some w-body cars in 95? i came across a thread in the For sale section with a 95 vert cutty for sale with a 3.5 V6. he said it was ultra rare. now im pretty good on history with all GM cars tranny's engines etc and ive known nothing about this so im calling bullshit on this unless someone can throw some numbers as me that will show me some facts abot this.

If you are speaking of the 3500 no. That motor was not made until 2005. There was never a 3.5 stock in a w-body.

i didnt think so, i know the gm engine line up from around the mid 60's till now. i know what engines were offered in what cars and how each engine is related to other engines. Im quite positive there was no 3.5 in 95 i just want someone to prove me wrong.

They put the 3.5 Shortstar engine into some Oldsmobiles back in the early 2000s.

Unless somebody went crazy, and retrofitted a 3500 from these newer cars. It's been done in W-Body and J-Body cars, so this isn't out of the question. It probably is a 3.4 DOHC, though.

yeah a 3.5 is possible with work but never original. 3.4 most likely
