EviLette
OK its a DEH P690UB and it FU'd again today when I went out to the car and started it up, wouldnt come on until I tapped the face a few times. I guess the thing is a "premier" lol. what a piece of crap. Premeir? Like brand? or model? lol I'm out of the <$200 discussion on decks. I've got a badass Pioneer Premier deck that I paid like 300 for? Maybe it was 400, I don't remember now. I absolutely love it.. as long as the battery in my car doesn't go dead. When it comes to using it, switching through displays and whatnot its awesome. When it comes to remembering how to set the clock, it's another ball game. But for ease of use.. I miss my first JCV cd player. It was sexiness back in the day that i had it.
LuminaPower92
OK its a DEH P690UB and it FU'd again today when I went out to the car and started it up, wouldnt come on until I tapped the face a few times. I guess the thing is a "premier" lol. what a piece of crap. sounds like poor installation to me..... I had problem like that with my Clarion in my Escort, when it would fold to put a cd it would shut off, then close it it would work, turns out the wire loom got a small crease and would seperate when open. sent it out and had it fixed for 75 bucks to a place that rebuilds radios. how did you come up with that assumption? I am completely anal about everything on an install. nobody I know has as much installation equipment as I. GB crimpers, shrink terminals, all loomed. basically bulletproof. koprshield on every crimp to eliminate oxygen. do you do all that? or just have daddy get one installed down at the stereo store? I tapped the faceplate meaning it was crappy contacts on a crappy faceplate. oh yea it messed up today temporarily the volume knob stopped working. I've never had a problem with my Pioneer faceplate. Trade you decks??
