Usually means bad key. Recently, happening every couple days, for a couple days, when i start the car via the remote, the security light comes on and stays on even after i get in. Why? slick Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 When you get a chance, crawl under your dash and take a look. Could be a loose or faulty connection, the bypass maybe needs to be reprogrammed, it's really hard saying.
