Security Light comes on when starting with remote start

In the impala at times i am having problems with the security light coming on when i start the car with the Key. Usually means bad key.

 

Recently, happening every couple days, for a couple days, when i start the car via the remote, the security light comes on and stays on even after i get in.

which bypass module did you use?

whichever american put in when they installed it. not quite sure.

When you get a chance, crawl under your dash and take a look. Could be a loose or faulty connection, the bypass maybe needs to be reprogrammed, it's really hard saying.

 

If anything, take it back to the place that installed it, as they should warranty their own work.
