I could've sworn 3800performance or PFYC sold them, but I can't find them on their sites. IIRC they were like $300. They're pretty expensive no matter where you go, whoever finds some and sells them on CGP usually wants like 200-250 for them. Or if you're lucky find them in a j/y!!

I have been wondering the same thing.

I am also thinking of putting them on the GP.

How do they install? Anyone know?

Posted

They go obviously in those indents going front/back on the roof. There's a strip in there already that you remove, then stick the roof rails on with double sided tape.

I know terry (IIRC) was having me keep an eye out for them a year or so ago, but never even came close

I don;t like em, and I've not seen them on a junk car. but I;ll watch for them.

if you do run across them, please pull them for me.....gracias :)

IIRC, coupe and sedan ones are different.

that would be damn good info to find out ....has anyone else heard this?

Posted

I think Terry ended up getting some....

Yeah, I would probably try the dealer for this one.

Posted

the dealer is more than likely going to be very expensive on these.

Terry didn't go to what-his-name in Columbus for these?

Get the part number and hit up GMPartsDirect.

Ed Morad? I don't think so....like I said I think he got them but I'm not sure.

I don't like em

I'll second that. Then again, I've only ever seen them in combo with the SPED (or anniversary, or whatever edition) wheels, which I don't like, so maybe on a different car I might be swayed

Morad is up by me in North Ridgeville, not in Columbus

oh. I remember terry and another member making a scene because me and some other members weren't interested in bowing down and worshipping Ed Morad at a columbus meet. "Why would you ever need to go to a junkyard? That why we have Ed Morad."

Posted

Ahh, Ok

I never met the guy, but I met a kid who worked for him that was tossing a L67 in a Fiero..

But yeah, Morads does have a lot of parts, but nothing that really helps me though

LOL, I think they were kidding.

I think that each side is around $90 from gmpartsdirect....I am not 100% sure as I don't have the part numbers anymore, and now that I found out that coupes/sedans are indeed different, I don't know if I had the right numbers in the first place...I will have to make a few phone calls sometime

Jeremy, contact the guys at gmbuyparts.com i think they are out of a pontiac dealership in Chi town called Gillesepe or something like that
