Can you please keep all these ideas to one thread? This is at least the fifth or sixth thread you've made about some crazy idea for your car.

x2... they never pan out, and they're always slightly incoherent.

Can you just stop posting these "ideas" that you have. You have the wrong car for what you want to do. Get rid of it and spare us these threads. You have created countless threads like this. If you want to build something and need help thats one thing. These are as put crazy ideas, and ideas that will never happen.

Unless you have more money than you know what to do with (which you don't since you drive a 1st gen w-body), you're not going to make rwd work. making that engine fit will be hard enough in itself. This is like that one dude who stripped the shell out of a civic and installed a vette's rwd drivetrain and LS1. Very rare cases, and they usually don't stand well as anything other than showcars.

i marvel that you guys rip on him for making a thread about his dreams for the car. if he wants to dream about this stuff, let him ffs. you guys going on about him making useless threads, yet i can't even count the hundreds of useless fag and fart and shit threads you guys post. just back off the guy and let him be.

depending one what yr 350 he puts in, his 3.4 alraedy has more power. Thats why its a dumbass idea. If he wanted power he needs to swap in an LSX engine. In which I doubt he could afford to swap that. Or even has the know-how to do so. Im not attacking him on this. Im saying this is NOT an easy thing. and to be honest I REALLY DO NOT wanna hear a million questions about how you cant do this or how do I do that.

Im getting really sick of people on here not doing any research and wanting all the fucking answers laid out on a silver fucking platter for them.

Here's an idea: Put a 454 in a Honda Civic.

Someone I know did that, looked like a beater, all his money went into that. But did it fly!

Until he wrapped it around a pole..

If he wants to post about ideas that he lacks the knowledge and funds to successfully complete, let him.

If he wanted power he needs to swap in an LSX engine.

That is an asinine statement. Unless he wants to use stock heads and a stock cam, it doesn't matter what year 350 he swaps in. A 350 has more dirt-cheap speed parts than any other engine ever produced.

I completely agree. Even if he uses stock L31 (96+ Vortec truck) heads, he can make a lot of power.

I'm just saying that your cutty is SO nice and kinda rare, I would find something not as nice to do it with, like a base model. IDK how much mechanical experience or money you have, but you're going to need a lot of at least one and most likely both.

Agreed.

turbo LQ1 = realistic solution for power in your car

Agreed.

The the original poster. What you need to know is these cars have little or no aftermarket, anything is going to be custom. Where would you rate your mechanical experience? You need to understand anything like this won't be easy. I know of 1 first-gen guy that did it.

He first put a 3.4/5speed into a 94+ car (not easy trust me), and then swapped to RWD.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/94customgtp <---Here is his cardomain. The car is running, but I think he's still working on driveability issues. It's been 2+ years. I bought his 3.4 5speed powertrain.

Lastly, you need to have extensive knowledge of these cars. If you want to make posts more power to you, but please make sure to think them out...

I brought the cylinder heads to him for that car. I haven't seen it in person, but he's a cool guy, too. The LS1 and RWD WILL work. I did some research for it in my '97 CS a few years ago.

Ok so he needs to MOD this 350 to get more power? yeah ok... that makes ALOT of sense  The 350 may have alot of parts for it, but it still costs money. You still need to tune it.. unless you run it carbed which i dont know why the hell you would even think about doing that. The whole point of swapping motors is to get more power stock for stock. Just mod the 3.4..... this thread is crazy. None of it will ever happen.

This thread has been over since it was started.

Synister, I suggest you learn a thing or two about engines, and stop posting rediculous threads. That, or we will create one thread for you to post idea's in and to ramble, that way you are not creating dumb threads every two weeks.
