ihateallmustangs
So this morning I changed out my CV on the driverside with one from napa. Now I have a horrible wobble at lower speeds and it appears the inner boot is leaking grease out the end. The clamp does not appear to be fastined properly and is near the edge. Did they give me the wrong part or just faulty?
93CutlassSupreme
If you installed it right, then I'd say it's faulty/wrong part. I've been sold many wrong parts by the "ASE-Certified" douches at auto parts stores. You have a major problem buddy. With that boot not sealed properly, leaking grease, you're letting water and dirt inside. Seal up that boot SOON or you'll be installing another CV joint real quick.
