krenzy Posted February 14, 2008 Report Share Posted February 14, 2008 Ok so by 3 pm today I am leaving for South Dakota, and needed to figure out why my stereo system would randomly shut off and on. Rewired the grounds and power supply, and found out that the problem was the grey wire under the steering column. I tugged on it trying to trace it's source, but I pulled it out before I could even see where it went. So now I'm screwed and need help. I don't have a camera with me. All I can say is there's a long red wire running the length of the steering cloumn piece I removed, and this grey wire is below it. There's so many grey wires I'm lost, and I don't beleive it's a ground, though I may be wrong. Although, since it won't turn on, I'm sure it's either a power or ground. NEED HELP SOON!
