I'm actually thinking of going with shorter gap plugs in the olds, either .045 or .050 instead of stock .060.

Last time I checked the plugs on the cutlass I re-gapped them a few thousands smaller. If the Gap is +.060 you really cant go too far off that range. Id say about +/- .005 is the most id wanna go. Cause after all smaller gap = more heat/spark.

I just use regular copper AC plugs.

I'm going to run MPFI plugs pre-gapped at .045

just got the oil changed, and when I first bought the car the owner didn't say anything about a tuneup so I Just got some spark plugs, yesterday and will be putting them in tomorrow afternoon. My dad has a heated garage so hopefully it will be available. I got AC Delco RapidFire spark plugs. I didn't buy any wires yet, I'm gonna see if I really need them first. I think the rapidfires will help the car idle a little smoother. lets wait and see i'll post an update after I get it done.

I'm getting my plugs checked and possibly changed today. And yes Adam I got Rapidfire 8's. YEAH!!!!

Maybe that'll take care of my rough ilde problem. It doesn't do it all the time just every now and then which weird.
