ZoomZoomFan Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 Let's see. The GA doesn't really NEED anything, but it'll get some stuff I'm sure... - Full Exterior/Interior detail (fresh wax job this spring) - Power Steering Flush (power steering fluid and brake fluid are the only fluids I haven't changed ) - Fix screwed up passenger side headlight (its not mounted correctly at all)...I might just replace it, because it's all pitted and foggy and old. The driver's side is practically new (its from an '04 GA) due to a GA/deer accident last year. - It'll probably need new brakes all around before '08 is done. - Quote

Cutlass - Hopefully I'll be dumping this and picking up something else to replace it. Major parts have been failing at an accelerated rate during the last year and it's time for it to go. Quote

BCM Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 20's on a Cobalt?? Yeah, I saw pics of 18 inch casinos on a SS and they looked too small. but here is what it would like: and with 18s Quote
mra32 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 on the 20's over the 18's. But the tires on the picture of the car with the 18's look like its too small. It looks like it has like the same size sidewall as the one with the 20's. But those are gaudy chrome wheels with rivets/dimples. If you have the wide polished 5 spokes i always see on cobalt ss' then i say keep 'em. Those are among my favorite oem wheels evar made. along with 2 other 5 spokes (both made by volvo) Crosslaces are pretty good too. but there have been better executions of crosslace style oem wheels than the grand prix ones. TurboSedan Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 i want to pay off my Regal GS ASAP and sell it for something more interesting....as in an older car with a turbo and 5-speed that is cheap enough that wouldn't require a car loan. the L67 thing just never caught on with me i'd rather have an interesting 1st GEN W or another older Turbo Dodge. i like the Regal and all but i'm just not into it and it feels so boring. slick Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Actually... I could use a PS fluid flush as well. Probably the original 8 year old, 140,xxx mile fluid. Same with the coolant also. Quote
ZoomZoomFan Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Actually... I could use a PS fluid flush as well. Probably the original 8 year old, 140,xxx mile fluid. Same with the coolant also. Same here. It was low a couple months ago and we added some, but it was just as old. Hasn't been low since though. I know the coolant in the GA was the original stuff when I got it, so out it went. The car ran cooler after that too. Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 The car ran cooler after that too. Same here. I'm going to do another flush this year... on all fluids. Tranny I'll just drop the pan. Quote
Nick1234 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 i assume you take it somewhere to flush the ps fluid. For the Impala, Front struts and strut mounts Im taking it to be cleaned inside and out Coolant flush ps fluid flush- wheel doesn't like to turn on hotter days brake fluid- I guess ill just bleed it out a bunch? keep adding new? new steering wheel just pm stuff to keep it like new.
