stockgp
what are the set screws in this pic for? this is the turbo motor i just picked up off tgp forums. i'm going to tear ir down and re-gasket the whole thing, since it's been sitting for quite a while. i'll be reusing all the hard parts, as this motor has 5,000 miles on a rebuild. only thing is, whoever put this motor back together fucked the threads where the dogbone mount brackets mount to the top of the head. i'll have to have them drilled and tapped so, back to my question:

GutlessSupreme
e-mailed! too bad, you have the earlier block like I do now. My TGP's block had the bulky ass cross-braces going across between each set of lifters. Oh well, didn't do that block any good anyway
stockgp
i didn't even know there were different versions of the block. still ahve pics of you block and oiler setup? after i rebuild this one, i'll be swapping it for the one that came in my tgp. then i'm going to mod the shit out of that one. the one in the pic has a hot cam and matched springs from comp cams, ceramic coated pistons, some other stuff i can't remember. still waiting on the guy i bought if rom to get me the specs
