K@m3l0t Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Hey i want to swap my ub3 cluster (digital) to the lumina needle cluster... It is possible?? Pulg and Play? Maybe not! It's hard to make the convertion? Quote
jeremy Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 it should be possible, but won't be plug and play Quote
ns87 Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 I wanted to put a Lumina cluster in my car, but I think they mount different than CS gauges. Something stopped me from doing it. I don't remember what Quote
Crazy K Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 I'm inspired. I have a spare clusters up the wahzoo. Quote
1990lumina Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Why would anyone want a Lumina cluster when it's the shittest of all of them (90-94 I presume we're talking about here) Quote
ManicMechanic Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 I wondered the same Jeff, just I was being quiet about it. lol Quote
rockfangd Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 ugh honestly i hated the lumina cluster. I thought it was the worst cluster even for reliability. and it does also mount different but possible is suppose. keep us posted Quote
Justin Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Any reason you'd want the Lumina cluster, which would take a lot of cutting to get it to fit, instead of the analog cutlass cluster that bolts right in after swapping pins? Quote
Crazy K Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 the analog CS cluster is the worlds BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT. not a single 92-94 cluster I have tried is REMOTELY calibrated. Ever done 100mph at 1200rpm? I have. yeeaccchhhhhh but my 92 lumina running the fully analog gauges from a 91 was perfect and reliable in every way. while full gauges were available in 90-94... the appearance was updated in 91 and it had an oil gauge until sometime in mid 92. I think the 91-mid 92 lumina gauges cluster rocks. Quote

ManicMechanic Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 You're likely right...I guess I've been lucky... Quote
Brian P Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 the same could be said for Grand Prix clusters too. It's all hit or miss, eventually they all screw up though. Quote

ns87 Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Why would anyone want a Lumina cluster when it's the shittest of all of them (90-94 I presume we're talking about here) I really like the look of them! lol Quote
brocno2454 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 The cluster in my 91 euro does not look bad at. Quote
