Chancho
This is on my other lumina, none the less here goes the pcv hose line where it meets up into the canister purge valve rotted off yesterday, and turns out its a dealer only part, the car needed a new canister purge valve or so the CEL said so, so today i went up to the parts store, bought the new Canister purge Valve and went to buy the pcv hose, turns out its a dealer only part and i needed to get his car back on the road by tonite cause my a$$ aint waking up at 6:40 to take him to school lol, so i got a hose that fit tight around both the purge valve and the remaining part of the pcv hose that wasnt bad (the plastic part) got the car reassembled and go to start it up, it is running like it has a terriable vac leak, like unbelievably bad like almost a miss. His wires looked bad, so we went to the parts store and bought a new set of spark plug wires, installed them and still nothing. anyone got any ideas, it doesent hesitate when driving, matter of fact it runs good then, just idle is terriable. There isnt an idle relearn on ODB 2 or so i thought, and so you know the car is a 97 Thanx in advance
1990lumina
Are you still getting a SES light?
SigEpCutlass
I don't know if the idle relearn procedure is necessary for the OBD2 3100's. However, it'd probably do the trick on if I had the same problem on my '94. Give it a shot and let us know if it solves the idle problem you're having. Chancho
looked up idle relearn, its only applicable on odb 1 cars, so thats a no go as for the SES light, its still on, but from the previous codes

Chancho
i know why the SES light is on, for the canister purge valve, but i think its just a vac leak, im going to run new vac lines and see what that does vrom the pcv and canister purge to the vac source
