I remember seeing a thread on 60degreev6, about a guy supercharging his LQ1 in his monte Carlo. I think he used an Eaton m90, and had to cut a hole in the hood for it...

 

that was a long time ago though, at least a year, if not two

he had to fab up a completely custom intake manifold, and like stated before, he had to cut a huge hole in his hood since the setup was so tall. then he of course put a scoop on it which looked really gay IMO.

 

now, a centrifugal supercharger has NOT been done that i know of and would be equally difficult to do, but would look better. space is a issue though.

i had inquired about this a while ago

 

and i found centrifugal the best way to go but as for space i found a very unique attempt at one it was done on northstar and they mounted the supercharger over by the airbox

wow that looks so f%&king dumb lol and as far as when i said bolt on i didnt actually mean it would just bolt on i just wanted to switch it around to see if someone would say it was a dumbass idea and if i do plan ion keeping my car i might just l67 swap but it looks liek i might just sell it....wanna buy i'll tell you all the details!
